Busy times

Dearest family and Friends,

We would like to thank you all for your continued support, these have been busy times for us the last few months. Our gathering from a few days back with the three Ecuadorian conferences ended up being a wonderful time. We were able to get to know each other all a bit more. And the churches continue to be in prayer and working towards how can they be a blessing of peace in their different communities. Delicia was also able to organize a wonderful time for the children who arrived (there were about 13 children who participated) Delicia worked on a theme of Peace with God, Peace with myself and peace with one another. There was a group of youth from “Global Tribes Outreach” (connected to the conservative Mennonite Church) who had been volunteering in Ecuador with the Mennonite churches for several weeks and they were also able to go along to the event and help out some with the children’s programs.

We have also been working with FEINE, I (Peter) went with pastor Sergio and attended part of the FEINE’s national pastor conference where we shared the material on church planting. This past weekend we went down to the amazon where we worked with a group of church leaders sharing the church planting materials and doing a few workshops focusing on reading the Bible through a peace lens.

Lastly Delicia continues to work on the diapers, she plans to give out a batch of them in the coming weeks since they still are family arriving in Ecuador from Colombia and Venezuela, fleeing violence and economic hardship.

We are grateful for all of your continued prayers and support
